TRIPLE CHOCOLATE ,DOUBLE ZESTY COOKIES & CREMES

Cookies are at work again,yeah was to bake them again (very happily) to be gifted & i got working ,my mind ie with the deco...i had to make them presentable enough to be gifted right?And it had to be nothing but this special recipe

TRIPLE CHOCOLATE DOUBLE ZEST COOKIE with MORE CHOCOLATE PER COOKIE BITE sounds like a good name doesnt it???

So just a few days after my first sweet& simple bake i was repeating this gorgeous no-fail recipe with a twist,the slight difference being,white ,milk & dark choco buttons and loads of 'em....oh they are fantastically delicious.I did reduce the sugar a wee bit coz fellow bakers thought it was sweet tt,i love it sweet so much........get the original gorgeous recipe here.

And also was so eager to try all those snoopys i saw around the blogosphere(have bookmarked that recipe for later-stay tuned) & boy was so waiting to pounce on the shopping bag for the kellogy ears....yeah i coudn wait to try the original recipe but will soon

Snoopy,goofy,pluto ....i love 'em all ,what shall i name these i know not...& they aint looking at me sadly are they...and i aint going to eat 'em either....they are give aways .......(ofcourse i did sneak in a few)Oh they are irregular i know coz this dough aint for 'em coz it flattens a bit but will try the original cookie soon...till then these cutey i dont know what......THEY ACTUALLY LOOK like little tiny cuppy cakes...cuppy cake hors 'de v...

Oh i love all three,

so how am i to plead guilty for gobbling thee!!!!
Oh they are so happy i say

for THEY bring that sunshine in my day,

as i pack 'em in foil warpped curling ribbons for a soft touch,

to gift 'em to someone hoping they'll love 'em as much!!

but now after staring awhile i think its more like

Oh i'm simply in the queue

waiting to melt in to deliciousness anew!!!!

These cookies arent only delicious but so easy peasy to put together-READ ALL ABOUT 'EM HERE--perfectly fit 'em in while grabbing a sandwhich at recess time.

I was going all around home with an orange & lemon in hand asking which aroma u love better???well the cutest input was 'both' ,and thats the stori how both zests went in......

65 grams butter
1/2 cup suagr(OK i didn really reduce the sugar)
2 whole vanilla beans
zest of 1 or 2 limes(as per taste)and 1 orange
1/2 an egg
3/4 cup flour-sifted with-1/4 tsp bicarbonate of soda &1/8 tsp baking powder
200 grams chocolate buttons assorted(milk,dark&white)

METHOD
1. Cream butter and sugar along with the innards of 2 whole vanilla beans(u can reduce this but i love vanilla) & the orange & lime zests. Oh what a aromatic creamy mix.
2. Add in half the egg & fold in dry ingredients along with choco buttons.
3. Tumble the rich mix & roll into beautiful balls & flatten a bit...beautiful all these chocolate buttons.
4. Bake in a preheated oven @ 180*c on a cookie tray ,placed 2inches or 5 cms apart for around 28 mins(i love 'em crispy remember)
(and my oven always takes longer to fire up anyway:-))) )

THIS COOKIE HAD AN EXTRA CRUNCH WITH ALL THE SWEETNESS,WHICH I LOVED!!!!

LOVE THE TINY DAINTY SPECS OF REAL VANILLA BEAN ALL AROUND THE COOKIE!!!!

AND TOPPED WITH LOADS OF CALLEBAUT CHOCOLATE!!!

YEAH AM RUNNING OUTA SPRINKLES REALLY.........
