FRIENDS ,THERES THIS GREAT EAT-A-CHRISTMAS-COOKIE-ANNUAL-EVENT- HOSTED BY SUSAN AND IT SIMPLY ROCKS.
THIS BAR COOKIE MARKS MY BEGINING OF A 12 COOKIES OF CHRISTMAS BAKE-AND STILL HOPE TO FINISH 'EM BY 3RD YEAH....
AND THIS YUMMY ROUND UP makes it so difficult for me to chose my next bake......
Happiness doesnt elude me a single day & the reasons keep piling on too. Today Maria has released our next months, sweet and simple bake....(u must must be a part of this group next time round-satisfaction gaurenteed)oh have been trying to guess what it would be for days on end...
And yiiipppeeeeeee its brownies, something i have never baked but only gorged on & infact had already written a post for brownies that was going to bake next,so this aint my first now(but aint going to post the other brownie post till this one-this has to be special),only awaiting to find in my pantry good chocolate which is in plenty now so here i am,on the threshold of baking my brownie.----find recipe for these gorgeous brownies here----
I love the white chips in contrast to the dark chocolate, exactly what had planned in for the i-heart-nutella challenge &
am waiting to try sprinkling the icing sugar ,something i havent done well yet except for the bonbon cookies so yup the excitement is still(&always ) be there,so is the enthusiasm & passion in my heart(else would i be sitting here at 2 am writing about this),am sleepy but my eyes refuse to shut(they were when i was studying awhile ago though,i have exams soon)..lol(laugh out lods not moms&dads love u lods or lots of love)...lol again....
The co founders of sweet and simple bakes are MARIA OF THE GODDESS KITCHEN and ROSIE OF BAKING CAKES GALORE, both blogs u'd be happy to visit & so was i!!!
These brownies have to be the toast of the season really!!!
Brownies flecked with snow,
& those cute little red bows!!!
Arent these so so easy to make,
perfectly fitting like a glove to----sweet & simple bakes----!!!
Oh sure the aroma that filled our home while these baked,
All our appetites raked!!!
Stll warm,That first bite,
Oh i'm so glad that i did get this one right!!!
Dark & gooey ,
yet so sweetly chocolately!!!
And the bites that land u a button, snowy white,
Oh its the creamy chocolets allright!!!
Does it feel like christmas ,oh yes it does....
i can hear the bells ringing already!!!!
...Christmas time....mistletoe & wine......
(oh,thats my cellphone singing away, yeah mom,i'll get that one,it might just be santa)
And yeah these have to be re-named as intensely chocolatey super delicious best ever fudgy brownies.
I baked a few cuppy brownies with different toppings &
loved 'em,love to experiment.
BEFORE THEY POPPED INTO THE OVEN
This recipe is a no-fail gorgeous recipe .The few changes i did make here ,were ,for one ,instead of only dark chocolate ,i used 70% coco callebaut callets with part milk chocolate(39% coco)callets & a little of a turkish hazlenut choco paste.
Also where the sugar is concerned always use castor, never granualted(the whisking aint too much nor is the baking time ),but i had only granulated so when i got down to breaking it down ,what i got was almost powder which worked excellent!
Besides this i only played with the toppings.
The cuppy fairy brownies took me 20 mins to bake & the bars took a little bit longer!!!
I love a sugar high, that last months bake, these white chocolate cookies brought, forget about sweet tooth ,i have a sweet mouth...lol
BROWNIES CALLED BOWNIES,WHY DID U THINK?
WHATS TO KNOW HERE I THINK....
BROWNIES ARE BROWN,I NOTICED SO,
AND THATS A CUTE NAME BY TO GO....
LIKE A CAKE'S A CAKE,
A DELICIOUS BAKE!!!
AND A COOKIE IS A COOKIE WE KNOW,
A CRUNCHY MUNCHY DELIGHT SOMETIMES CHEWY SO,
IS ROSEBUDS CONNECTED TO A BROWNIE SO GOOEY,
OR THATS THE BROWNIES.IS IT?
WHAT ELSE COULD IT BE I STILL WONDER,
ANYBODY ELSE ANY ANSWER????
i played a little with the toppings & shapes,yeah.
some with praline walnut,
---some with praline almond---
and some with the callets of milk & white
MARIA ,UR TOTALLY RIGHT IN SAYING TO BAKE THE WHOLE BATCH,I MEAN THESE WERE SWIPPED CLEAN IN LESS THAN 24HRS FLAT-I BAKED EM AT NIGHT MIND U
& as i write this am drooling over the pics that i cant upload!!!
coz i know jus how great they are on my taste buds!!!
loved the gooeysness of this intensely chocolatey, fudy brownie.....
